Save the date: 15 November! Bossley Park will host a special daytime event celebrating Andrea Camilleri’s beloved detective, Salvo Montalbano. The program will feature a lecture by Dr Giulia Torello-Hill, Senior Lecturer at the University of New England, exploring the Italian detective novel and how Camilleri used crime fiction to reflect truth, justice and modern Italian society in an interactive format which will engage the audience.
The day will also include a musical performance by the Scupriri Sydney Sicilian Folk Ensemble, bringing the Montalbano theme tracks to life, and will mark the end-of-year prize-giving and celebration of Marco Polo – The Italian School of Sydney, inclduing the conferral of the Marco Polo Awards for Excelence.
