The 2025 Citizen of the Year Awards, presented on 26 January 2026, shone a spotlight on two outstanding Italian-Australian community figures whose dedica tion has left a lasting mark across Sydney’s inner west and sport ing landscape: Natalino “Nat” Bongiorno, named Citizen of the Year, and Santino Grieco, awarded Sports Citizen of the Year.
