Geronimo Stilton explains the Council of Europe

A journey from Mouse Island to Strasbourg, to discover the Council of Europe features on the latest educational publication supported by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The character is Geronimo Stilton, the famous mouse-journalist most loved by children all over the world, created by Elisabetta Dami. 

The Semester of the Italian Presidency of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe is the event promoted by Geronimo Stillon through the “Welcome to the Council of Europe” special edition, bringing together the work of Edizioni PIEMME-Mondadori Libri, in collaboration with Atlantyca Entertainment, for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and the Council of Europe. 

In this episode, Geronimo Stilton goes to the Palace of Europe together with his family to visit the main seat of the Council of Europe, where he was invited to open the Assembly “For a future together”.

There, the mouse-journalist meets representatives of the institutions, speakers and experts ready to tell him about the role of each in various sectors, from the promotion of female empowerment to the protection of minors, from the enhancement and safeguarding of European cultural heritage to the proposal for regulation. 

From human rights to the impact of artificial intelligence, Geronimo embarks on a great adventure to deepen the work of the Council of Europe and its actions in defence of justice, equality and human rights.
