Stephanie Di Pasqua MP, Member for Drummoyne, has been appointed as NSW Shadow Parliamentary Secretary for Health and Shadow Parliamentary Secretary for Jobs and Small Business. The appointment strengthens her role in supporting the NSW Opposition and advocating for better outcomes across communities statewide.
Di Pasqua, who has long been motivated by a commitment to serve her constituents, said the role allows her to expand that focus.
“At a time when cost-of-living pressures are placing real strain on household budgets, people expect a government that focuses on what matters most: accessible healthcare, secure jobs and a strong small business sector that supports local communities,” she said. In her new position, Di Pasqua will collaborate with The Hon. Sarah Mitchell MLC, Shadow Minister for Health; Mr Gurmesh Singh MP, Shadow Minister for Small Business; and Ms Eleni Petinos MP, Shadow Minister for Jobs. She emphasised her commitment to developing practical, credible policies, strengthening frontline health services, supporting employment, and easing pressures on local businesses.
Highlighting challenges under the Labor government, Di Pasqua pointed to hospital strains, rising business costs, and missed infrastructure opportunities. She said she will ensure community feedback is central to policy work, contributing to a strong, united Opposition under the leadership of Kellie Sloane and offering a credible alternative government for NSW families and small businesses.
