The comic, radio presenter, and actor known for his roles in Fat Pizza and Darradong Council television shows appeared on stage in Sydney in front of a capacity crowd at Five Dock RSL as part of his first solo national tour, ‘Mamma’s Not Happy.’ Liotta opened in Perth before heading to a sold-out show in Sydney, then followed up in Adelaide before finishing in his hometown of Melbourne. Speaking to Allora! after his first solo show in Sydney, James said, “While it’s good performing with my mates, it’s great to go through your own stuff and do your own thing.” James went on to say that the Sydney crowd was “an amazing audience.” Liotta was praised by fans for a highly comical performance about life as an Italian growing up in Australia. Crostoli King provided free crostoli to audience members at intermission, adding an Italian flavour to the atmosphere. The last leg of his tour was in his hometown of Melbourne before embarking on another tour with fellow comedians George Kapiniaris and Gabriel Rossi. Look out for tour dates at a club near you.
