The Marco Polo School of Italian in Bossley Park will welcome the local community today for its rescheduled Open Day, taking place from 10:30 am to 1:00 pm at its campus in Coolatai Crescent. The event is set to offer families, students and language enthusiasts an opportunity to discover the school’s educational programs and vibrant cultural environment.
Throughout the morning, visitors will be able to meet teachers and staff, explore Italian language courses for K–12 students and adults, and learn more about enrolment options and available scholarships for 2026. Information sessions and informal conversations are expected to provide valuable insights into how the school supports students at every stage of their learning journey.
The Open Day will also highlight the cultural side of the Marco Polo School experience. Guests will be invited to enjoy Italian refreshments, including coffee and gelato, creating a welcoming atmosphere that reflects the school’s strong connection to Italian traditions and community life.
Executive Officer Giovanni Testa said the Open Day represents an important moment for outreach and engagement. “This is a chance for families and prospective students to see who we are and what we offer,” Testa said. “We want people to experience first-hand how learning Italian here is not just about language, but also about culture, identity and connection.”
Located at 1 Coolatai Crescent, Bossley Park, the Marco Polo School of Italian continues to play a key role in promoting Italian language and culture in Sydney’s west, and today’s Open Day is expected to attract strong interest from the wider community.
