NGV offers Coffee and Culture for Italian-Speaking Seniors The National Gallery of Victoria (NGV) is inviting Italian-speaking seniors to experience its remarkable collection of Italian art through a unique program, Coffee and Culture. This initiative offers participants an hour of informal conversation in Italian, led by friendly NGV voluntary guides, exploring paintings, sculptures, decorative arts, and fashion from Italy. Italian art is one of the gallery’s greatest strengths, reflecting centuries of creativity, culture, and history. Participants are encouraged to share their perspectives and questions, creating a lively and engaging discussion that goes beyond the traditional guided tour. After the session, attendees are welcome to continue the conversation over a cup of coffee in the NGV café, fostering connection and community among seniors with a shared passion for Italian culture. The program is free, but booking is required, and it is supported by the Italian Australian Foundation.
