Sadly I have to inform you that CINEMA LISMORE is closed due to substantial flood inundation.
This means that the 2022 Lismore Italian Film Festival will be postponed till a sparkling newly refurbished Cinema appears like a phoenix later this year!
I know for some we have been here before. Different circumstances this time, but excited for the staff of bccCinema Lismore as the previously planned upgrade of the facilities will be brought forward. And our festival will be pushed back!
Our organising committee appreciates the support of our loyal fans, including the Manager of the Cinema Lismore, Tammi Anderson and her team who have embraced our program and their bosses who have undertaken to manage aspects of the project and its scheduling.
We look forward to welcoming lovers of classic and contemporary Italian films when the new date for screening is determined.
