The incident occurred shortly after 3:00pm local time. Multiple NSW Police units, paramedics and rescue crews attended the scene, where officers established a crime scene and erected a Police Rescue tent to shield the area from public view.
The incident took place in one of the busiest parts of Sydney’s CBD, causing traffic disruptions and drawing the attention of numerous bystanders.
