Ancora una volta il Presidente della Repubblica, Segio Mattarella ha voluto ricordare che “Il bene dell’informazione è strettamente legato a quello della libertà e la democrazia si nutre della libertà di parola e di espressione”. Un intervento rivolto a quelle istituzioni che ancora oggi osteggiano la stampa libera, a quei due che, purtroppo, ancora si ostinano a discriminare contro chi fa il proprio dovere nello “svolgere quel servizio alla conoscenza che crea consapevolezza rispetto al velo dell’ignoranza dei fatti”. “I giornalisti devono essere al riparo da ogni forma di intimidazione” ha aggiunto il Capo della Stato.
