Eighteen people assessed after serious bus crash near Glenburn

An air ambulance helicopter and specialist paramedics are responding to the crash north-east of Melbourne.

Paramedics are assessing 18 people following a serious bus crash near Glenburn, in Victoria’s Yarra Ranges.

Emergency services were called shortly before 3pm, with an Ambulance Victoria spokesperson confirming that crews were assessing patients at the scene.

An Air Ambulance Victoria helicopter and Advanced Life Support units are assisting with the emergency response.

Details of the patients’ conditions and any hospital transfers were not available in the initial update. The circumstances of the crash have also yet to be confirmed.
