On Saturday, 28 March 2026, the Monte Lauro Social Club in Buccheri hosted a lively Dinner Dance, proving that smaller venues can still deliver unforgettable experiences. The evening was marked by excellent food, attentive service, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere that had guests smiling all night.
The highlight of the evening was the live performance by Tony Cursio and the Romanza Band. Their music filled the room with energy, prompting many attendees to hit the dance floor. Guests praised not only the lively entertainment but also the quality of the cuisine and the smooth organization of the event.
Long-time President Orazio Noto received heartfelt recognition for his leadership. Supported by a skilled Committee and dedicated staff, he continues to ensure that each gathering runs seamlessly, fostering a friendly and social environment. This full-house Dinner Dance demonstrated that smaller clubs can offer significant value to regular patrons, providing both entertainment and community connection.
I also had the honor of addressing the audience about Lingua e Cultura and my work with the Allora Newspaper Melbourne Page. It was a privilege to share insights with attendees who are passionate about Italian language and culture. For those interested, updates will be available on my Facebook Page.
The Monte Lauro Social Club’s Dinner Dance was a true success, blending music, food, and friendship into an evening that guests will fondly remember for years to come.
