A body has been recovered from the water at Dover Heights in Sydney’s eastern suburbs. Police, paramedics and rescue crews attended the scene, while authorities work to establish the identity of the person and the circumstances surrounding the death.
Emergency services were called to Dover Heights on Tuesday after a body was discovered in the water at about 12.20pm.
NSW Police confirmed officers attended the scene alongside ambulance and rescue crews.
The body was subsequently recovered from the water.
Circumstances remain unclear

Radio host Kyle Sandilands said he happened to be visiting a friend in the area when police discovered the body.
Speaking on air the following day, Sandilands referred to the incident while reflecting on difficult periods in his own life.
